Please RSVP by November 15th.
The wedding will be in Heredia (1 of the 4 provinces of the metropolitan area). If you decide to come just for the wedding, there are a couple of places that you could visit in one day. We are adding a few options and information you could find useful below:
Weather:
January is dry season in the Central and Pacific coast of Costa Rica. It's perfect for taking tours. It's usually pretty windy, so please bring a light sweater.
Transportation:
The best way to move around is using Uber (but, ironically, it is illegal in Costa Rica). Use it anyway, it's the safest way to move around, and nothing will happen if you do.
Despite the fact that Costa Rica is a tiny country, distance does not accurately represent how long it will take you to get there. Please look at Google Maps and/or Waze to know how long it would take to move from one place to another.
Food:
Most Costa Rican dishes have Rice and Beans as their base, but you can also find any type of food, from fast food to fusion or experience-oriented.
Location
The wedding will be in Santa Bu00e1rbara, Heredia. I would recommend staying within 5u20138 km radius ~5 miles in Heredia, considering traffic and access to the area.
Love coffee and Starbucks goodies? This is a must-see. It's closed to the Poás volcano, so you can add that and have a 1-day tour that covers coffee, waterfalls, volcanoes, and sightseeing.
